At BlizzCon, Blizzard laid out Forever's schedule, from launch to summer 2027.
At launch, 4 November 2026
- Four new zones: Zephras Isle, the Riverglades, Shen'dralas and Mount Hyjal.
- Nine new dungeons, from level 13 to level 60.
- A new race, the Skyborne, and new race and class combinations.
- New spells and new talents.
9 December 2026: the raids
Three raids open with Season 1: Hyjal Summit for 20 players, The Barrow Deeps for 10 and Onyxia's Lair for 40.
After that
- Winter 2026: Hardcore mode, after launch.
- Spring 2027: two new raids, two new dungeons, new quests and a new zone, a legendary quest chain and a new PvP season.
- Summer 2027: an iconic raid revisited, a new raid, an expanded world, a new PvP season, and profession and Legacy updates.
