What changes in Forever

Everything is new. Killing every encounter grants a Legacy point. Over forty weapon models tied to the two Hyjal raids were found in the game files.

Tips

  1. The launch raids need no attunement.
  2. The raid takes exactly 20 players: plan your roster accordingly.

Season 1 sets

Five-piece class sets were found in the game files. Their models carry the Hyjal mark, so they are expected at Hyjal Summit, to be confirmed. Their names are not published and the bonuses may still change.

The two- and four-piece bonuses follow the role:

  • two pieces: +1% hit chance for casters and rogues, +1% attack and casting speed for the other damage dealers, +7 defense for tanks, +10 Spirit for healers;
  • four pieces: a damage bonus against one creature type (demons, beasts, elementals, undead or humanoids depending on the class) for damage dealers, a healing and spell damage bonus for healers, and a lower chance to be dodged or parried for tanks.

The five-piece bonus, the most telling:

Forever raid rulesThe same in every instance

As Blizzard described them:

  • fixed sizes, 10, 20 or 40 players, no flexible raids
  • fixed difficulty, never scaled to your level: you can come back stronger and outgear the content
  • simple mechanics at first, in the spirit of Classic
  • one highly sought-after item on every boss
  • raid items stay hidden until they have dropped once
