Camping rules
  • A campfire can be placed almost anywhere in the world, except in cities or too close to another fire. Campfires come from Cooking.
  • Each craft yields two camp objects, used up when you place them.
  • You need the skill to place an object, but the whole group gets its bonus: stay near the fire for one minute, seated, on a chair, asleep, lying down or kneeling.
  • The bonuses mimic class buffs and do not stack with them.
  • A fire lasts 10 minutes (one-hour cooldown); camp objects share a one-hour cooldown.

Overview

First Aid is a secondary profession that matters a lot more in Forever: it takes over every healing potion and adds cures for diseases and bleeds.

What changes in Forever

  • Six healing potions, from minor to major, at skill 1, 55, 110, 155, 215 and 275.
  • An antivenom at skill 215.
  • Poultices against diseases, at skill 90, 140, 210 and 280.
  • Tourniquets against bleeds, at skill 120, 200 and 265.
  • The Legacy perk Field Medicine shortens Recently Bandaged.

Progression

  • Apprentice (1–75) and Journeyman (75–150): from the trainers.
  • Expert (150–225): the book Expert First Aid - Under Wraps, from a faction vendor in Stromgarde Keep or Brackenwall Village.
  • Artisan (225–300): the quest Triage, at level 35 and skill 225, on Theramore Isle or in Hammerfall.
For every profession
  • The system stays the Classic one: fixed reagents, items with fixed stats.
  • Over 600 new recipes, across every profession and level range; many old ones were reworked.
  • Recipe tracking (reagents shown like a quest objective), linking your whole profession book in chat, filters by skill-up, available materials or equipment slot.
  • Two primary professions, plus the three secondary ones: Cooking, First Aid and Fishing.
