Camping rules
- A campfire can be placed almost anywhere in the world, except in cities or too close to another fire. Campfires come from Cooking.
- Each craft yields two camp objects, used up when you place them.
- You need the skill to place an object, but the whole group gets its bonus: stay near the fire for one minute, seated, on a chair, asleep, lying down or kneeling.
- The bonuses mimic class buffs and do not stack with them.
- A fire lasts 10 minutes (one-hour cooldown); camp objects share a one-hour cooldown.

Overview
Cooking is a secondary profession, but it makes the campfires: without it, no camp. Its food also raises the experience you earn from monsters.
What changes in Forever
- Food buffs raise the experience you earn from monsters.
- Campfires are made with Cooking: the basic fire holds 3 camp objects, the Journeyman one 5, the Expert one 10.
- Around level 5, the quest The Great Outdoors teaches you to sit by the fire, then to learn Cooking to make your own campfire.
- The Azeroth Commerce Authority sells six drink recipes, from skill 25 to 250.
For every profession
- The system stays the Classic one: fixed reagents, items with fixed stats.
- Over 600 new recipes, across every profession and level range; many old ones were reworked.
- Recipe tracking (reagents shown like a quest objective), linking your whole profession book in chat, filters by skill-up, available materials or equipment slot.
- Two primary professions, plus the three secondary ones: Cooking, First Aid and Fishing.
