Camping rules
- A campfire can be placed almost anywhere in the world, except in cities or too close to another fire. Campfires come from Cooking.
- Each craft yields two camp objects, used up when you place them.
- You need the skill to place an object, but the whole group gets its bonus: stay near the fire for one minute, seated, on a chair, asleep, lying down or kneeling.
- The bonuses mimic class buffs and do not stack with them.
- A fire lasts 10 minutes (one-hour cooldown); camp objects share a one-hour cooldown.

Overview
Engineering keeps its gadgets and explosives. At camp, it gives no stat bonus but practical services.
What changes in Forever
- A line of safer explosives, bomb bags, goggles, a glider and a parachute are among the vendor recipes.
- The gnome racial trait, Engineering Specialization, cuts failures and backfires of engineering devices by 20%.
- At the crate vendors: 28 recipes, from skill 25 to 300. A certification at 300 grants a profession title.
- One Legacy point the first time you reach 150, 225 and then 300 skill (production professions only).
Trade
Crates found in the world are filled and turned in to the Azeroth Commerce Authority (Three Corners camp, in Redridge Mountains) for the Alliance, or to Durotar Supply & Logistics (near the Crossroads, in The Barrens) for the Horde. They pay out Merchant's Favor, which buys recipes, mounts, toys and cosmetics.
For every profession
- The system stays the Classic one: fixed reagents, items with fixed stats.
- Over 600 new recipes, across every profession and level range; many old ones were reworked.
- Recipe tracking (reagents shown like a quest objective), linking your whole profession book in chat, filters by skill-up, available materials or equipment slot.
- Two primary professions, plus the three secondary ones: Cooking, First Aid and Fishing.
