The developers confirmed it: Forever's launch raids need no attunement.
The raid rules
- Fixed sizes, 10, 20 or 40 players, no flexible raids.
- Fixed difficulty, never scaled to the players' level.
- Simple mechanics at first, in the spirit of Classic.
- One highly sought-after item on every boss.
- Raid items stay hidden until they have dropped once.
What about Onyxia?
Onyxia's Lair required an attunement in Classic. For Forever, that is still to be confirmed.
The three Season 1 raids open on 9 December 2026: Hyjal Summit (20), The Barrow Deeps (10) and Onyxia's Lair (40).
