The World of Warcraft: Forever beta opened on Thursday 17 September 2026, around 11 p.m. Paris time. Blizzard first sorted out a few last issues, then opened access gradually.
Who can play
- Players selected after opting in on their Battle.net account.
- Owners of the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection.
The beta launches from the Battle.net app. It runs until 21 October, the last full day of testing.
Week 1 content
- A level 20 cap, raised to level 30 later in the beta (date not given).
- The Skyborne and their starting zone, Zephras Isle.
- Two new dungeons: the Hall of Thanes (levels 13–18) and the Ruins of Lordaeron (levels 15–20).
- All zone content up to level 20.
More zones, more dungeons and the new battleground will arrive during the beta, as well as a "Server Slam" of a few hours open to everyone, on a date still unknown.
