Overview

Blackrock Depths stretches beneath Blackrock Mountain. It is one of the largest dungeons in the game, for levels 52–60, in contested territory. Emperor Dagran Thaurissan is the final boss.

Tips

  1. Aim for level 55: hard from 50, easy at 60.
  2. Pick up the dungeon quests before your first run: they give most of the experience.
Forever dungeon rulesThe same in every instance
  • Monsters give less experience and dungeon quests much more: your first run pays the most
  • An item nobody looted in the instance is mailed to you afterwards
  • When a rare item drops, the whole group unlocks its appearance for transmog (not in raids, not for epic items)
  • Meeting stones no longer summon: a list-based group finder replaces them
